About Me

With decades of business travel road stories from my time as a grizzled insurance executive, I knew there was a way to make the absurdities of the world of travel into a comedic novel. While I wouldn't wish a contentious divorce on anyone, navigating that byzantine process forged a resolve to expose its absurdities. I now live in Charlotte, North Carolina with my "Forever Wife" of eight years and have two grown children who are from LA and DC respectively.

Sixty years ago my father, after getting out of the army, where he was a speechwriter for a general, and editor/reporter/cartoonist/ man on the street interview for the company newsletter, waited three hours in the rain to audition for Sid Ceasar's SHOW OF SHOWS. Whether boredom or fear of the failure overtook him is an unknown but he left his place in line and never looked back. Getting published would be my way of helping to fulfill his dream posthumously. 

As a member of several online and local writing groups, I have honed my voice and craft in the two years since the novel was completed.  After receiving a five-star review my novel is under consideration as a finalist in the READER'S FAVORITE annual writers contest .I am a debut writer building my social platform.
